Job Description

Salesforce is seeking a Business Analyst for the APAC Professional Services operations team. This role involves supporting and improving Professional Services processes and tools, collaborating with leaders across operations, delivery, and GTM. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce knowledge, process/business knowledge, and experience with Order-to-Cash processes, focusing on data analysis, reporting, and process optimization.
Must have:
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Excel.
  • Analyze data to provide insights into business performance.
  • Oversee operational aspects of financial processes (PO tracking, SOWs, invoice reconciliation).
  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies through workflow analysis and improvements.
  • Collaborate with various departments (finance, resourcing, sales, legal, revenue recognition).
  • Provide support for existing applications, including issue identification and data management.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Support projects to design and implement innovative solutions for process efficiency.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a business operations or business analyst role.
  • Deep understanding of professional services business (Bookings, Revenue, Invoicing, Collections).
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing and the Salesforce product family.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce tools and ability to configure them.
  • Experience with CRM and data management.
  • Proficient in generating reports in Salesforce and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing complex business challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of business principles, financials, and market trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and perform well under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

As a Business Analyst on the APAC Professional Services operations team, you'll play a key role in supporting and improving our Professional Services processes and tools. You will work closely with leaders and team members across Professional Services Operations, Delivery, and GTM to understand their needs and provide solutions. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of Salesforce and should have strong process/business knowledge and experience with Order-to-Cash processes who is comfortable working with both standard and custom tools, analyzing data, and creating reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Excel to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) for Professional Services. Help analyze data to provide insights into business performance.
  • Financial management: Oversee the operational aspects of financial processes, including tracking purchase orders, understanding statements of work (SOWs), and reconciling invoices.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and address operational inefficiencies by analyzing workflows, mapping processes, and implementing improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with various departments, such as finance, resourcing, sales, legal and revenue recognition, to ensure operational strategies align with business goals.
  • System and Tool Support: Provide support for existing applications, including issue identification, data management, and reporting. Understand how our tools work and be an advisor to the business in solving any transactional issues.
  • Compliance and quality assurance: Monitor and enforce compliance with internal and external policies, such as timecard and invoicing governance, to maintain quality standards.
  • Project Collaboration: Work with various teams to help design and implement innovative solutions that increase process efficiency. Support projects from initial requirements gathering through to successful implementation.

Basic Requirements

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a business operations or business analyst role, with a focus on tools, processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Operation Efficiency: A deep understanding of professional services business who understands Bookings, Revenue, Invoicing and Collections process.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulousness is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of data and compliance with operational standards
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of cloud computing and the Salesforce product family. Hands-on experience with Salesforce tools and the ability to configure them to support business efficiency.
  • Data & Reporting: Experience with CRM and data management. Proficient in generating reports in Salesforce and advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and addressing complex business challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Business acumen: A deep understanding of business principles, financials, and how market trends impact operations.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and perform well under pressure.
