Job Description

The Program Change Manager is responsible for leading and managing the organisational and operational change efforts associated with a large acquisition program, which will include the defining of the relevant change processes. The role will lead and govern change processes at the program level to ensure successful transition, adoptions, and integration of new processes, systems and practices between all relevant stakeholders of the program.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support a large Defence program
  • Lead and manage organisational transition efforts, ensuring stakeholder engagement and buy-in
  • Oversee adoption and integration of new processes, systems and practices within customer and CAE organisations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth communication
Good to have:
  • Ideally hold certification in change management methodologies e.g. Prosci, ACMP)
  • Experience within the defence, government or a highly regulated industry is preferred
  • Preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance

The role will lead and govern change processes at the program level to ensure successful transition, adoptions, and integration of new processes, systems and practices between all relevant stakeholders of the program.

The role we are offering you

  • Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, ensuring alignment and smooth communication

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Formal qualifications and/or extensive experience in organisational development or change management
  • Ideally hold certification in change management methodologies e.g. Prosci, ACMP)
  • Strong familiarity with ADF structures and processes
  • Ability to develop and execute structured change frameworks tailored to complex environments
  • Experience within the defence, government or a highly regulated industry is preferred

Security requirements

As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
