Focus of the Role

We are looking for a Program Manager with strong wireless SAED deployment experience, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, who will lead and manage various SAED programs, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. The Program Manager will be responsible for all project delivery accountability to the customer, maintaining high standards of quality, and meeting project timelines and budgets. This person will have an excellent analytical skill set, an understanding of how telecommunication networks operate, and a detailed understanding of MNO deployment processes and strive for process improvement.

What You’ll Do

Amplitel houses Australia's wireless tower infrastructure; building, managing, and sharing access to 8,000+ towers, masts, and poles.

The Program Manager will be called on to manage and control the below accountabilities (not limited to):

  • Lead and manage SAED activities for MNO projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements.
  • Develop, maintain and exceed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage the program budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources,
  • Manage project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues incl. commercial, contract, financial.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet customer expectations and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, and delivery partners, acting as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
  • Plan and manage the transition to construction and installation activities, as required.
  • Responsible for project related WHS principles.

About You

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Extensive experience in a senior leadership role on large-scale MNO deployment projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, construction management, project management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in MNO, MNIP, and/or delivery partner full breadth SAED industry.
  • Strong project management and supplier management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end MNO deployment activities.
  • Familiarity with property, planning, and telecommunications legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively, especially in contentious or 'red rated' sites.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage changing project requirements.
