Zeeco is seeking a Project Engineer for their Incinerators division, based in Lissone, Milan. The role involves managing assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget, and meeting customer requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating with various internal and external disciplines, developing procurement and manufacturing schedules, evaluating bids, monitoring budgets, and handling technical and commercial correspondence. The engineer will review purchase orders, confirm scope, coordinate designs and drafting, manage costs and changes, maintain delivery schedules, and provide support to quality control and sales teams.
Must have:
  • B.S. or Masters in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
  • Five (5) years related manufacturing experience or equivalent
  • Personal computer skills
  • Business acumen and commercial sound decision making
  • Results-driven and committed to performance
  • Fluent in English
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of all Zeeco products, especially Incinerators

Job Description
 
The Project Engineer position will be based out of Zeeco's Lissone office, Milan area. The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on
Incinerators division products and relevant technical requirements. Responsible for all aspects of assigned jobs to assure high quality products are delivered on time, within the assigned budget and satisfying the customer requirements. Duties include coordinating with the various internal and external disciplines, develop and maintain the procurement and manufacturing schedule, technical and commercial bid evaluations process with sub vendors, monitoring the assigned budget and handling technical and commercial correspondence as required.

Job Duties:
  • Review Purchase Order and confirm scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation.
  • Confirms equipment selection and design and perform / coordinate required disciplines
  • Coordinates drafting activities to makes sure all required drawings are completed on time.
  • Reviews customer mark-ups, clarify the comments and instructs drafting as to disposition.
  • Ensure the costs will be within the assigned budget and manage any change with the customer and the suppliers.
  • Maintains delivery schedule based on Customer requirements and Zeeco workloads, including coordination of drafting, purchasing, manufacturing and quality control.
  • Pre-order materials as required for meeting delivery.
  • Coordinate and provide information to the Quality Control Department for customer / job specifications
  • Coordinates all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the job. This includes all internal communications and all correspondence with the Customer, end user, sales reps, and/or outside consultants
  • Coordinates written advise and commercial resolution with Customer concerning any change to the scope of supply
  • Notifies Accounts Department when billings are to be sent
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Some of these duties may include:
  • Support to the sales and application engineer

Qualifications
  • B.S. degree or Masters Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) and/or five (5) years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have personal computer skills.
