Job Details

Job Description: ROLE DEFINITION As a Senior Project Manager at Merkle, you will implement projects aligned to scope, budget and timeline expectations. You will plan, monitor and report on progress of the projects while playing a necessary role in facilitating the mitigation and resolution of risks. You will cultivate relationships and assist with our internal governance, creation and optimization of processes and procedures, not only for Merkle to operate effectively, but also with the goal of delivering the best solutions to our clients. This is a remote position reporting to Director, Project Management. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • You will deliver software projects of high risk and complexity, typically across multiple practices and larger than $1M in revenue, on-time and on-budget with high quality and client satisfaction
  • You will be the primary delivery lead and internal and external contact for our projects
  • You will plan and procure resources according to the scope and budget of the project; maintain that resource plan
  • You will produce and manage timelines in accordance to the constraints identified
  • You will lead internal and external communications regarding the project, including technical discussions
  • You will manage our project budget
  • You will identify, and define mitigation strategies for risks internally and externally
  • You will collaborate with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • You will identify and aid implementation of improvements within the project management department
  • You will mentor and onboard other project managers
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8 + years working as a Project Manager, preferably in email marketing
  • Understanding of standard project methodologies
  • Deliver high risk projects, with skills that show the ability to manage projects of high levels of risk and complexity
  • Build relationships with clients and partners
  • Experience creating project timelines and monitoring budgets
  • Experience working with clients and within scopes of work
  • PMP or other Project Management Certification preferred
  • Experience managing projects in at least one of the following platforms preferred: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Braze
  • Ability to travel, as needed

The annual salary range for this position is $78,000 - 126,500. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
