We are recruiting a Project Manager – Renewable Energy – Heating to join the Renewable Energy department of one of our automotive clients, a global industry leader. The role focuses on both technology animation and project management for low-carbon heating solutions, such as biomass, biomethane, heat pumps, and heat recovery. The position plays a key part in the company’s decarbonization roadmap and industrial energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Animation – Heating Solutions:

• Define and optimize the Technical Referential and develop generic specifications, integrating lessons learned from previous projects.
• Conduct pre-studies to assess potential applications of heating technologies in various contexts.
• Define appropriate business models (self-investment, PPA, or partnerships), in collaboration with Business Development and Purchasing, depending on the country.
• Develop and validate Business Cases and ensure technical robustness of solutions for presentation to the Decision Committee.
• Provide technical support to solve complex issues during project execution.
• Deliver technical training within the heating technology perimeter.

Project Management – Energy Projects:

• Define the Energy Autonomy Roadmap 2025/2030, in collaboration with Master Planning teams and Energy Managers at plant level.
• Support new project proposals and contribute to governance processes with the Decision Committee.
• Develop detailed technical specifications and manage RFQs, coordinating with external engineering offices.
• Ensure project performance aligns with investment, performance, and cost targets.
• Coordinate grid regulation compliance, environmental permitting, and interface with public authorities.
• Oversee project commissioning, tracking progress against defined roadmap milestones.
• Capture and document lessons learned to continuously improve the technical referential and project delivery processes.

• Proven experience in renewable energy project management, particularly in heating technologies.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills and ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Technical knowledge of low-carbon heating solutions is essential.
• Familiarity with photovoltaic systems and battery storage is a plus.
• Comfortable working in an international and matrix organization.
• Strong communication and documentation skills in English.
