This includes developing and editing graphics, ensuring compliant and compelling content, contributing to management volumes and plans, tailoring resumes, and writing responses for various requests. The role involves researching, writing, and harmonizing proposal content while maintaining past performance and knowledge management libraries. The coordinator will also be responsible for meeting deadlines and adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in English or a related field
  • 2-3 years of direct proposal technical writing experience
  • Ability to transform bulleted information into narrative
  • Proficiency in MS Word
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Description

 

1.       To support our Capture and Proposal Team.

2.       Responsible for a variety of tasks related to producing material for proposals, white papers, and other Business Development-related material including assisting to develop and edit graphics for hard copy and electronic submissions.

3.       Create, review, and edit material to ensure compliant, compelling, and accurate text is prepared for final dissemination.

4.       Contribute material for management volumes and plans; tailor and edit resumes; develop past performance sections and volumes, write responses for requests for information; and source sought, and white paper responses.

  • Ensure high-quality content for proposals and other corporate materials.
  • Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and help confirm that proposal responses are compliant and compelling.
  • Edit and guide the content of proposal artefacts through the review processes
  • Research and write material as needed
  • Harmonize proposal writing across the volume to ensure one voice in presenting proposal content
  • Assist proposal team with keeping the past performance library and knowledge management library updated

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in English or related field

·         2-3 years of direct proposal technical writing experience

·         Able to take bulleted information, snippets, and rough ideas (from meeting notes and storyboards) and transform them into compelling proposal narrative

·         MS Word Proficiency

·         Excellent reading comprehension, writing, spelling, communication, and interpersonal skills

·         Demonstrated ability to manage time and deliverables under tight deadlines

·         Strong critical reasoning and problem-solving skills

·         Adapt easily to a growing, developing, and fast-paced environment
