Job Description

As a Purchasing Engineer, you will ensure the timely supply of critical electrical and mechanical components and assemblies for our high-tech systems, contributing significantly to the global electronics industry and enabling next-generation technologies like AI and IoT.
Must have:
  • Purchasing electrical and mechanical components and assemblies
  • Schedule tracking, quality monitoring, and processing of delivery deviations
  • Market analyses as well as selection, qualification, and development of suppliers
  • Negotiation with national and international partners
  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Legal, etc.
  • Implementation of cost optimizations and process improvements
  • Support for strategic sourcing projects
Good to have:
  • Completed technical degree or training (e.g., electrical engineering, industrial engineering)
  • Fluent German and very good English
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and team spirit

As a Purchasing Engineer (m/f/d), you ensure that our high-tech systems are supplied with the right components at the right time – making a decisive contribution to the global electronics industry.

Your Tasks

  • Purchasing electrical and mechanical components and assemblies
  • Schedule tracking, quality monitoring, and processing of delivery deviations
  • Market analyses as well as selection, qualification, and development of suppliers
  • Negotiation with national and international partners
  • Close collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, Legal, etc.
  • Implementation of cost optimizations and process improvements
  • Support for strategic sourcing projects

What You Should Bring

  • Completed technical degree or training (e.g., electrical engineering, industrial engineering)
  • Experience in technical purchasing or related areas (min. 3 years)
  • Fluent German and very good English
  • Proficient in technical drawings, MS Office, and ideally SAP (MM module)
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and team spirit
