Job Description

The QA Manager will be responsible for developing the team’s test strategy, improving QA processes, and supporting appropriate initiatives. This role involves combining business requirements with technological challenges related to scale, low latency processing, and high volumes of data. The QA Manager will oversee the end-to-end QA process, collaborate with various teams, and mentor a team. Responsibilities include delivering new initiatives, taking ownership of the QA process from requirements analysis to production delivery, reviewing and improving testing strategy, identifying and tracking product quality metrics, and coordinating releases. The role also involves continuous improvement of product quality, collaboration, and efficiency.

The Crown Is Yours

We are looking for a Manager of QA Engineering to develop the team’s test strategy, improve QA processes and support appropriate initiatives. You will help combine the demanding business requirements with a wide variety of technological challenges related to scale, low latency processing and high volumes of data. You will be responsible for the end to end QA process, collaborating efficiently with various teams on processes, while developing and mentoring a team. 


What you’ll do as a Manager, QA Engineering

  • Deliver new business and technical initiatives, enhance the existing solution with responsibility for the result.

  • Take responsibility for the QA process from requirements analysis to production delivery for multiple teams.

  • Review and improve testing strategy, traceability matrix, etc.

  • Identify, report and track product quality metrics.

  • Coordinate and challenge technical and product releases from a quality assurance perspective.

  • Mentor QAs in cross-functional teams

  • Continuously improve product quality, collaboration and efficiency of the teams and processes.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in how to define appropriate testing strategy,

  • Set up an efficient QA process (for example, have fewer meetings, but keep strong collaboration between people, automate or not to automate, etc.)

  • Challenge and improve current processes to keep ‘close-to-zero-bugs’ releases.

  • Work with product owners to keep up to date and improve the traceability matrix (basically, finding the balance between testing effort and excellent product quality, etc.).

  • Help QA’s to grow and define their career path.

  • Experience in how to release and test the product with multiple dependencies to other departments and teams. Work with end to end testing against multiple components and subsystems.

  • Be ready to learn a rich business domain.
