Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting automated testing on our software applications to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and update scripts to automate testing processes, ensuring they are both efficient and effective.
• Identify, analyze, and meticulously document test results.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies.
• Verify that software applications meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform thorough post-release and post-implementation testing.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues with various teams to identify root causes and drive resolutions.
• Confirm and validate identified defects.
• Continuously maintain and improve the automated scripts and framework.
• Regularly assess and implement new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• Hands-on experience of less than 1.5 years as an Automation Test Engineer.
• Basic Python programming knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Familiarity with testing concepts and process management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• BE in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

DESIRED:

• Domain knowledge in Positive Train Control or Locomotive domain.
• Good understanding of IBM test management tools.
• Exposure to Eclipse/PyCharm.
