Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist with strong Data Engineering capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, developing and evaluating machine learning models, and implementing Generative AI solutions on AWS.

This role requires a solid understanding of Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS cloud services, as well as the ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines using PySpark, AWS Glue, and other AWS data services.
• Create robust data preparation, model training, and inference pipelines for AI/ML workflows.
• Evaluate machine learning model performance and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Design and develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications using Generative AI models.
• Work extensively with AWS services including Glue, Athena, S3, SageMaker, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data pipelines and models.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Python programming.
• 2+ years of experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.
• 3+ years working with AWS services, particularly:
• AWS Glue, Athena, S3
• Amazon SageMaker
• DynamoDB, OpenSearch
• 2+ years of experience working with Generative AI and implementing RAG pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and transformation.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD practices, and cloud-based deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
