Wabtec Corporation is seeking a RAMS Engineer to join their team in Piossasco (TO), Italy. This role involves performing RAMS analyses for high-tech braking and air generation systems in national and international projects. Responsibilities include supporting bid phases, analyzing supplier component/equipment/system functional requirements coverage, developing and updating RAMS/LCC analyses, managing client relations for RAMS/LCC aspects, handling user and revision manuals, collaborating with other Wabtec sites for technical RAMS contributions, collecting and processing field data, defining product functional characteristics, and establishing maintenance policies using maintenance engineering techniques. The engineer will also define RAMS requirements for new product development.
Must have:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace, Environmental, or Energy Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of similar experience
  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Experience with DFMEA / FMECA
  • Experience with FTA / SCIL / RCIL / SIL / SRAC
  • Experience with LCC (Life Cycle Cost)
  • Knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50129, EN 50128/EN 50657, Regulation (EU) 402/2013 + 1136/2015
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Availability for short national and international travel
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (Polarion/Doors)
  • Experience with ILS methodologies (PHST, special equipment definition)
  • Experience with FRACAS methodology
  • Basic knowledge of fire & smoke and fire safety standards (EN 45545, NFPA 130, EN 50553)

Nel ruolo di RAMS Engineer, riportando al RAMS Responsible, sarai responsabile delle analisi RAMS per sistemi frenanti e generazione aria ad alto contenuto tecnologico e prestazionale, all’interno di progetti nazionali ed internazionali.

Come sarà la tua giornata tipica?

  • Supporta la fase di gara con le attività RAMS necessarie

  • Analizza la copertura dei requisiti funzionali per componenti/apparecchiature/sistemi del fornitore

  • Sviluppa e aggiorna le analisi RAMS/LCC con la commessa acquisita

  • Gestisce i rapporti con il Cliente per gli aspetti RAMS/LCC, la gestione e verifica dei manuali d’uso e dei manuali di revisione

  • Gestisce i rapporti con gli altri Siti del gruppo Wabtec per i contributi RAMS dal lato tecnico

  • Raccoglie ed elabora i dati provenienti dal campo

  • Definisce le caratteristiche funzionali (CF) dei prodotti

  • Definisce le politiche di manutenzione di prodotti e sistemi, applicando le tecniche dell'ingegneria di manutenzione

  • Definisce i requisiti RAMS per lo sviluppo di nuovi prodotti

Cosa vogliamo sapere di te?

  • Laurea magistrale in Ingegneria Aerospaziale / Ambiente e Territorio / Energetica

  • Esperienza di almeno 4 anni in ruolo simile

  • Ottima conoscenza della lingua Inglese

  • Redazione documentazione tecnica: manuali uso/di revisione/correttivi, parti di catalogo illustrate

  • Analisi di Affidabilità: DFMEA / FMECA

  • Analisi di Sicurezza: FTA / SCIL / RCIL / SIL / SRAC

  • Analisi di Manutenzione: LCC (Life Cycle Cost)

  • Conoscenza approfondita degli standard EN 50126, EN 50129 EN 50128/EN 50657, Regolamento (UE) 402/2013 + 1136/2015 (o equivalenti)

  • Predisposizione al lavoro in team multidisciplinari e multinazionali

  • Disponibilità a brevi trasferte su territorio nazionale ed internazionale

Sono graditi:

  • Buona conoscenza di strumenti per la gestione dei requisiti, come Polarion/Doors

  • Buona conoscenza delle metodologie ILS (Integrated Logistic Support), es. Documenti PHST (packaging/Handling/Storage/Transportation), definizione e gestione di attrezzature speciali, banchi prova

  • Buona esperienza sulla metodologia FRACAS

  • Conoscenza di base delle principali norme antincendio & fumo e di sicurezza antincendio, quali EN 45545, NFPA 130, EN 50553
