As a Reliability Lab Operator at Cirrus Logic, you will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on visual inspection and sample preparation for semiconductor components used in qualification stress. Your responsibilities include operating thermal chambers and component handlers, utilizing a real-time SAP based ERP system for data input, and adhering to QA requirements. You'll also load/unload materials onto test fixtures, support Rel Lab activities, and build positive relationships with other groups within Cirrus Logic. The role emphasizes attention to detail and offers cross-functional training. The team environment is friendly and collaborative, contributing to a positive work experience.
Must have:

  • Prepare sample sets for various stress conditions.
  • Load/unload material onto test fixtures and ovens.

  • Previous exposure in a semiconductor test lab environment.
  • Knowledge of JEDEC industry standards.

Work in a friendly, fast-paced environment where attention to detail is top priority. Your primary role will be performing visual inspection and sample preparation for semiconductor components used in qualification stress. You will also assist in loading/unloading test fixtures and to operate thermal chambers and component handlers. We believe in cross-functional training in the Lab and would anticipate you becoming proficient on a wide range of equipment over time.  The Lab uses a real-time SAP based ERP system for generating qual requests and managing the qualification stress flow. Your job function will include setup and data input to the ERP system.


Responsibilities:

    • Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements.
    • Read all traveler steps and follow instructions.
    • Use the real-time database to monitor/input data and track the performance of qualification activities.
    • Observe and comply with all QA and paperwork requirements.
    • Visual inspect using a variety of tools, packages such as CSP, LFC, and QFN’s to identify cracking, contamination or other defects that occur during the assembly/stress process.
    • Randomize incoming material and prepare sample sets for various stress conditions.
    • Load/unload material onto test fixtures and into stress ovens.
    • Support all aspects of the Rel Lab activity and be open to learning new process steps.
    • Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
    • Build meaningful and productive relationships with other groups within Cirrus Logic (e.g. Test Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality and Reliability Engineering).
    • Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Training will be provided, however previous exposure in a semiconductor test lab environment is a plus.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft applications).
    • Some knowledge of JEDEC industry standards for qualification testing.
    • Willing to learn and adapt.


Shift:

    • 40-hour work weeks, running Monday through Friday from 9:00am–5:30pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
    • Non-exempt employee.
