Job Description

The Risk Data Pipeline Analyst at Google will provide data sets, services, and infrastructure for data-motivated decisions. Responsibilities include partnering with Risk analysts to identify, source, model, extract, transform, and load risk data; designing data pipeline integrity solutions; implementing data governance strategies; transforming data sets into consistent risk models; documenting pipeline architecture; and developing dashboards and insights for clients. This role requires expertise in data analytics, ETL operations, and SQL, along with experience in program management and cross-functional project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
  • Experience with SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with data, data architecture, modeling, trends analysis, statistics, and program evaluations.
  • Experience with data analysis using multiple scripting languages, tools, or platforms.
  • Experience with data analytics and extract, transform, and load (ETL) operations.
  • Experience with technology risk management and analysis.
  • Ability to create functional dashboards and visualizations to provide insights.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Risk analysts to identify, source, model, extract, transform, and load necessary risk identification process inputs (e.g., issues, incidents, assessments, measurements).
  • Design data pipeline integrity verification solutions and processes.
  • Propose and implement data governance strategies and mechanisms for ensuring quality data pipeline outputs.
  • Transform various input data sets into consistent data and risk models and document pipeline architecture and workflows.
  • Develop dashboards and provide insights to clients as part of engagements.
