Job Description

Hogarth is the Global Content Experience Company, part of WPP, partnering with top brands like Coca-Cola and Ford. They deliver engaging content across all channels, leveraging a global team of over 7,500 craft and technology experts. A Copywriter at Hogarth is responsible for writing various forms of copy and generating ideas for the Creative Department. This includes producing high-quality creative work for digital, TV, and print, championing conceptual thinking, and collaborating with internal teams. The role requires strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills, along with experience in digital, print, and TV creative work.
Must have:
  • Write long and short-form copy and headlines for international clients.
  • Produce creative work for Digital, TV & Content, and Print.
  • Champion conceptual thinking and great writing.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Department and other internal departments.
  • Take and respond to briefs from Creative Director and Client Service Manager.
  • Highlight and escalate creative issues to Creative line manager.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of brands.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to team meetings.
  • Extensive experience working and collaborating in teams.
  • Proven creative experience in digital, print, and TV.
  • Good working knowledge of Mac/Creative Suite programs.
  • Competent in Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency in British English.
  • Experience developing relationships and interacting with international clients.
  • Confidence in forming and delivering presentations to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, professional, and team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.

What does a Copywriter do at Hogarth?

Responsible for writing copy of all kinds and generating ideas for the Hogarth Creative Department.

  • Writing copy in long and short form and headlines for a range of international clients
  • Produce Creative work of quality and in volume for Digital, TV & Content, Print and more
  • Champion conceptual thinking and great writing; leading by example
  • Collaborating with the Hogarth Creative Department and other internal departments
  • Taking and responding to briefs from CD, CSM and other Internal clients
  • Highlight and escalate creative issues to Creative line manager
  • Demonstrate and champion clear understanding of brands
  • Support and help colleagues
  • Contribute to team meetings and other touchpoints
  • Taking and responding to briefs from CD, CSM and other Internal clients

Reporting lines and key stakeholders

This role reports to the Creative Director.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of working and collaborating in teams within industry
  • Proven Creative experience in digital, print and TV
  • A good working knowledge of Mac/Creative Suite programs
  • Competent in Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficiency in British English
  • Demonstrable experience of developing relationships and interacting with international clients
  • Confident in formation and delivery of presentations to Clients
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, professional and team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills
