Job Description

As an HPC Sales Specialist, you will drive adoption of Mistral’s AI solutions for high-performance computing environments across various industries. You will work with large, technically advanced customers, managing complex infrastructure requirements to ensure world-class performance. You will oversee the full sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing multi-year agreements, collaborating closely with engineering, product, and legal teams.
Must have:
  • Identify and engage with enterprise and institutional customers running large-scale HPC workloads
  • Drive strategic outbound efforts to high-potential accounts, managing qualified inbound requests
  • Work closely with industry partners, integrators, and technology alliances to expand Mistral’s HPC footprint
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand customers’ computational, networking, and storage requirements
  • Collaborate with our technical team to architect AI + HPC solutions for maximum performance and efficiency
  • Support and guide clients through Proof of Concept (POC) or benchmarking phases, ensuring measurable performance gains
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for complex, high-value deals
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (engineering, product, operations) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of solutions
  • Negotiate contractual terms, including performance SLAs, licensing models, and infrastructure deployment plans
  • Build relationships with C-level executives, CTOs, heads of R&D, and HPC program directors
  • Facilitate deep technical discussions, explaining complex HPC concepts and Mistral’s value proposition in clear business terms
  • Participate in industry events, panels, and customer workshops to position Mistral as a thought leader in AI for HPC
  • Capture market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform product roadmap
  • Share best practices with peers to strengthen Mistral’s overall sales approach in technical and infrastructure-heavy environments

Role Summary:

As our HPC Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving adoption of Mistral’s AI solutions for high-performance computing environments across industries such as research, government, finance, and manufacturing.

You will work with our largest and most technically advanced customers, navigating complex infrastructure requirements and ensuring our solutions deliver world-class performance at scale.

You will manage the full sales cycle — from identifying and qualifying HPC opportunities to closing large-scale, multi-year agreements — in close collaboration with our engineering, product, and legal teams.

What you will do:

Lead Development (HPC-focused)

  • Identify and engage with enterprise and institutional customers running large-scale HPC workloads
  • Drive strategic outbound efforts to high-potential accounts, alongside managing qualified inbound requests
  • Work closely with industry partners, integrators, and technology alliances to expand Mistral’s HPC footprint

Solution & Value Proposition

  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand customers’ computational, networking, and storage requirements

  • Participate in industry events, panels, and customer workshops to position Mistral as a thought leader in AI for HPC

Internal Enablement

  • Capture market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to inform product roadmap
  • Share best practices with peers to strengthen Mistral’s overall sales approach in technical and infrastructure-heavy environments

Who you are:

  • 7–10 years’ experience in enterprise sales of HPC, AI infrastructure, or complex technical solutions
  • Strong understanding of HPC architectures, parallel computing, GPUs, and cluster management
  • Experience selling to research institutions, large enterprises, or government agencies with advanced computing needs
  • Background in AI, data infrastructure, or deep-tech environments — ideally in a fast-growing startup
  • Ability to engage in both technical deep dives and strategic business conversations
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related field preferred
  • Excellent English & French (additional languages a plus)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million-euro sales targets in complex B2B environments
