Ness USA, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst to support the reverse engineering and redevelopment of an existing financial application within Salesforce. The role requires strong expertise in process optimization, workflow design, data migration, and cleanup, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. The analyst will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions, driving clarity and actionable insights. Key responsibilities include analyzing current processes, designing optimized workflows, facilitating stakeholder communication, and promoting continuous improvement in data quality and system efficiencies within the Salesforce environment.
Must have:
  • Support reverse engineering and redevelopment of existing financial application within Salesforce.
  • Expertise in process optimization, workflow design, data migration, and cleanup.
  • Ensure seamless integration and operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Analyze current Salesforce processes and legacy system workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement.
  • Document and design optimized Salesforce workflows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map as-is and to-be processes.
  • Challenge existing assumptions ("Tree Shaker") to identify root causes.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Drive requirements elicitation through targeted questioning, workshops, and interviews.
  • Prepare and present clear documentation, including process diagrams, data mapping strategies, and project status updates.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships.
  • Identify ongoing opportunities for process enhancements, data quality improvements, and system efficiencies.
  • Support data migration, validation, and cleanup activities.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and critical thinking.

Requirements and Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce Business Analyst to support the reverse engineering and redevelopment of an existing financial application within Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in process optimization, workflow design, data migration, and cleanup, with a focus on ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency. You will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions, driving clarity and actionable insights.

What You’ll Do

Salesforce Process Analysis & Workflow Design:

  • Analyze current Salesforce processes and legacy system workflows to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and areas for improvement; ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Document and design optimized Salesforce workflows using tools such as Salesforce Flow, process builder, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to map out as-is and to-be processes within Salesforce, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across teams.
  • Challenge existing assumptions ("Tree Shaker") to identify root causes of process inefficiencies and propose innovative solutions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring Salesforce process requirements are accurately captured and communicated.
  • Drive requirements elicitation through targeted questioning, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
  • Prepare and present clear documentation, including process diagrams, data mapping strategies, and project status updates.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships to foster alignment and support project success.

Data & Process Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify ongoing opportunities for process enhancements, data quality improvements, and system efficiencies.
  • Support data migration, validation, and cleanup activities, ensuring high data integrity and compliance with standards.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and critical thinking to challenge the status quo and encourage process innovation within the Salesforce environment.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on Salesforce process optimization, workflow redesign, or data projects.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce data migration, cleanup, and validation processes.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex Salesforce systems and translate business requirements into effective workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce process mapping tools such as Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, Visio, or similar.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, including SOQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • A "Tree Shaker": skilled at questioning assumptions and uncovering inefficiencies within Salesforce workflows.
  • Strong communication and elicitation skills to ensure stakeholder needs are well understood and addressed.
  • Data-savvy with a practical understanding of Salesforce data management principles.
  • Adaptable, comfortable working in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
