Job Description

Join Ness Digital Engineering as a Senior Product Manager to lead client projects from discovery to execution. You will own client engagements, plan and lead workshops, and translate strategic goals into clear delivery plans. Responsibilities include breaking down roadmaps into user stories, guiding delivery teams, tracking progress, and managing client expectations. You will collaborate cross-functionally with designers and engineers, foster open communication, and continuously improve processes using agile methodologies.
Good To Have:
  • Experience working across different industries or domains, bringing fresh perspectives to each project.
  • Familiarity with common product frameworks (e.g., JTBD, Lean Canvas, Double Diamond) and knowing when to apply them.
  • Experience collaborating in remote-first teams and making distributed teamwork run smoothly.
  • German language skills are a plus.
Must Have:
  • Own client engagements end to end, from initial scoping and building the right team to delivery and post-launch review.
  • Plan and lead workshops to shape goals, scope, and roadmaps in collaboration with client stakeholders.
  • Turn strategic goals into clear delivery plans that balance feasibility, transparency, and measurable outcomes.
  • Break down roadmaps into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/non-functional requirements, anchored in user needs.
  • Set up and guide delivery teams, ensuring a shared understanding of priorities, user value and success metrics.
  • Track progress against scope, budget, and timeline, while spotting and addressing blockers before they become risks.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring transparency, trust, and aligned expectations throughout the project.
  • Communicate proposals, technical topics, and progress updates in a clear and engaging way that connects to business needs and is easy to understand.
  • Adapt to changing requirements while keeping delivery focused on creating business value.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineering leads to integrate usability and feasibility into user journeys, making sure the product vision is both user-centered and technically achievable.
  • Partner with engineers in day-to-day work to ensure smooth integration, efficient delivery, and ongoing alignment between design and implementation.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and shared accountability within the team.
  • Use agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) to structure work effectively and adaptively, creating enough process to support client-facing environments.
  • Encourage open exchange with the team, noticing when someone is stuck and removing blockers early so delivery stays smooth.

In this role, you will…

Project Leadership & Ownership

  • Own client engagements end to end, from initial scoping and building the right team to delivery and post-launch review.
  • Plan and lead workshops to shape goals, scope, and roadmaps in collaboration with client stakeholders.
  • Turn strategic goals into clear delivery plans that balance feasibility, transparency, and measurable outcomes.

Product & Delivery Management

  • Break down roadmaps into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional/non-functional requirements, anchored in user needs.

You should bring…

  • Proven experience managing digital product or platform initiatives, ideally from a consulting, agency, or service-led environment.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships quickly.
  • Experience scoping and leading projects end-to-end, from putting the right team together to balancing budgets and keeping delivery on track.
  • A structured yet flexible mindset that navigates complexity and guides teams toward clear outcomes.
  • Hands-on understanding of agile methods and what it truly takes to bring products to life.
  • Excellent communication skills, in English (proficient) - German is a plus
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach, ready to dive in with the team and get things moving
  • The will to mentor and enable teams, supporting junior and mid-level colleagues where applicable
  • A passion for cross-functional teamwork, uniting designers, engineers, and business minds to deliver real impact.

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Berlin-based preferred). Occasional travel for client meetings or workshops.

Language Requirement: Fluent English, German is a plus
