Product Analyst

As a Product Analyst at CD PROJEKT RED, you will support data-informed decision-making for game development systems. You will collaborate with senior analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, actionable insights. This role offers an opportunity to deepen analytics experience within the gaming industry, growing towards more responsible game data analytics, by defining telemetry needs, building dashboards, validating implementations, and conducting analyses to identify improvements.

Must Have

• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and product teams to define and refine telemetry needs.
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports with KPIs and product usage metrics.
• Support the design and validation of telemetry implementations for data accuracy.
• Conduct exploratory and targeted analyses to answer product-related business questions.
• Assist in preparing reports and data presentations for stakeholders.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to validate hypotheses and assess outcomes.
• Take an active role to enhance data-informed recommendations.
• Monitor key metrics and identify business trends.
• 2+ years of experience in Product or Data analyst role.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• 2+ years practical experience with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong understanding of statistics and A/B testing concepts.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data, create reports, and recognize patterns.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective prioritization.
• Self-motivation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Product Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the development and improvement of data-informed decision-making across our products. You will work closely with senior analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure we have high-quality, actionable insights on systems supporting our games development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and product teams to define and refine telemetry needs for new and existing systems.
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide clear, relevant KPIs and product usage metrics.
• Support the design and validation of telemetry implementations to ensure accuracy and consistency in data collection.
• Conduct exploratory and targeted analyses to answer product-related business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in preparing reports and data presentations for various stakeholders across development, design, and production teams.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to validate hypothesis and assess outcomes against business metrics
• Take an active role to enhance data-informed recommendations
• Monitor key metrics, identify business trends

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working in a Product or Data analyst role;
• Advanced SQL skills, with the ability to execute optimized queries using multiple data sources;
• Practical experience (2+ years) with BI tools such as Looker/Tableau/Power BI, etc;
• Strong understanding of statistics and A/B testing concepts, including confidence intervals and hypothesis testing;
• Ability to work with a large amount of data, create reports, and recognise patterns;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective prioritisation.
• Self-motivation, proactively going beyond the call of duty;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong interest in video games.
