Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA FICO Consultant with strong functional expertise in Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations, system enhancements, and support, along with the ability to engage with business stakeholders, lead workshops, and deliver end-to-end solutions.

Must Have

• Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations.
• Configure and support core FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA, Product Costing.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide solutions for production issues.
• Conduct workshops with business users to capture functional requirements and process gaps.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with ABAP teams for RICEFW developments.
• Strong understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Actual Costing, and Fiori apps.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as MM, SD, PP, HR, and Treasury to ensure seamless integration.
• Support intercompany processes, taxes, and integration with third-party systems.
• Prepare test scripts, conduct SIT/UAT, and ensure proper documentation for functional areas.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users.
• Work with business leaders, finance controllers, and IT teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Lead discussions, status updates, and project planning meetings.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong hands-on configuration knowledge in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Controlling (CCA, PCA, IO, COPA), Product Costing & Material Ledger.
• Excellent understanding of S/4HANA table structures, Fiori apps, data migration (LTMC/LSMW), and financial closing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead junior consultants.
• Strong documentation and presentation abilities.

Good to Have

• SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience in Central Finance.
• Knowledge of Treasury (TRM) or Group Reporting.
• Experience in Agile project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Support

• Lead and deliver end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations, from requirement gathering to go-live and hypercare.
• Configure and support core FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, COPA, Product Costing.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide solutions for production issues.

2. Business Requirement Analysis

• Conduct workshops with business users to capture functional requirements and process gaps.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with ABAP teams for RICEFW developments.

3. S/4HANA Expertise

• Strong understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, Material Ledger, Actual Costing, and Fiori apps.
• Experience in S/4HANA Finance innovations such as Central Finance (optional), Parallel Valuation, and Real-time COPA.

4. Integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as MM, SD, PP, HR, and Treasury to ensure seamless integration.
• Support intercompany processes, taxes, and integration with third-party systems.

5. Testing & Documentation

• Prepare test scripts, conduct SIT/UAT, and ensure proper documentation for functional areas.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users.

6. Stakeholder Management

• Work with business leaders, finance controllers, and IT teams to ensure solution alignment.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with at least 2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
