Ariens Company is looking for dependable, enthusiastic summer employees for full-time, seasonal, entry-level production/manufacturing roles. Responsibilities include operating machines, painting outdoor power equipment, handling materials, and adhering to specifications. The job requires working 40 hours a week, from 4:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The company values teamwork and encourages personal development and growth. Job Description:

Ariens Company is currently seeking dependable, enthusiastic summer employees to fill full-time, seasonal, entry level production/manufacturing roles. The areas include Assembly, Machine Operating, Paint, and Material Handling and work 40 hours per week, 4:30am – 2:30pm, Monday through Thursday. 

THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Safe operation of machines and tools

  • Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles

  • Work as part of a team having responsibility for painting outdoor power equipment

  • Paint parts in accordance to the specifications

  • Handles raw materials and/or parts and places in designated location

  • Operates equipment needed to perform the job

  • Strict adherence to standard work

  • Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals

  • Completes operator preventative maintenance on equipment

  • Ability to problem solve effectively

  • Ability to communicate

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for duration of scheduled shift (10 hours)

  • Must be able to use hands to position parts in place

  • Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies

  • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Desire for personal development and growth

  • Must complete respirator questionnaire

  • Must maintain an average work schedule of less than 25 hours per week

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon your start date

  • Applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen in order to be considered for summer employment
