Job Summary
Join AriensCo as an Assembly Team Leader, leading and inspiring a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on continuous improvement, ensuring adherence to standard work, and meeting daily production goals. Responsibilities include training new employees, problem-solving, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lean principles, 6S, and waste elimination, contributing to safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
Must Have
- Lead area team members and ensure adherence to standard work.
- Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work processes.
- Ensure team members' cycle time is at or below takt time, assisting on the line if needed.
- Train new employees, transfers, and facilitate cross-training.
- Fill in for absent team members to maintain production.
- Perform root cause problem solving for production issues.
- Demonstrate good understanding of waste elimination, continuous improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.
- Properly fill out production control charts and understand the production control board.
- Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other personnel.
- Possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Clear understanding of Standard work, time observations, takt time, bar charts, and spaghetti diagrams.
- Proven understanding of 5 Key measures (policy deployment measures).
- Possess training and communication skills.
- Understanding of Lean and 6S principles.
- Basic computer skills.
- Trained in TWI.
- Ability to become torque certified.
- Ability to utilize the Ariens Company Standardized Problem Solving Process.

- Past leadership experience preferred
- Additional education in lean, leadership, or manufacturing preferred

Join Our Team as an Assembly Team Leader!
Are you ready to lead, inspire, and drive results? We're looking for a motivated Assembly Team Leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.
Pay: Starts at $26/hour
Schedule & Shift: Monday - Thursday (4 days x 10 hours), 4:30AM – 2:30PM
THE DAY TO DAY...
- Lead area team members
- Adherence to to standard work
- Create, maintain, audit, and improve standard work
- Ensuring team members cycle time is at or below takt time, includes helping on the line if needed to meet daily production goals
- Training new employees, transfers, and cross training
- Filling in for team members on vacation or absent
- Root cause problem solving issues that prevent the cell from meeting daily production goals
- Good understanding of waste elimination, continuous improvement, safety, quality, productivity, and delivery. Ability to identify waste and eliminate it
- Properly filling out production control charts and good understanding of the production control board and its function
- Ability to effectively communicate to team members, supervisors and other Ariens Company personnel
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
- Minimum High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Clear understanding of Standard work, time observations, takt time, takt vs. actual, bar charts, standard work combination sheets, spaghetti diagrams
- Proven understanding of 5 Key measures (policy deployment measures)
- Training and communication skills
- Understanding of Lean and 6S
- Basic computer skills
- Trained in TWI
- Become torque certified (training will be provided)
- Understands and has the ability to utilize the Ariens Company Standardized Problem Solving Process
