Job Description

ION is seeking a Security Architect with 5-10 years of experience in IT security and risk management. Must have expertise in security architectures, IT security issues, ISO 27001, data protection, and risk management. Strong knowledge of IT risks, security implementations, and operating systems is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Your role:

Your duties and responsibilities

• Contribute to plan, research, and design security architectures

• Develop, review, and approve the installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, routers, firewalls, and related network device

• Research and design public key infrastructures, certification authorities, and digital signatures, and ensure all personnel have IT access limited to their need and role in the organization

• Test/Validate the final security system and update and upgrade it as needed

• Cultivate a sense of security awareness, and arrange for continuous education

• Remain up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required

• Master’s degree with distinction in computer science/engineering, or an equivalent degree

• Good knowledge of IT security issues, management systems (ISO 27001 etc.) and data protection

• 5-10 years' experience in information security and IT risk management

• Strong working knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, computer operating and software programs

• Ability to interact with a wide range of people from different backgrounds and races

• Excellent teaching, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent knowledge of the English and Italian language.
