Job Description

Enverus is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team, a role that can be based in the US or Canada. This position involves coordinating accounting functions, preparing financial analyses and reports, managing cash tax payment forecasts, assisting with budgets, maintaining and reconciling accounts, supporting annual audits, resolving discrepancies, preparing tax returns, and drafting accounting memos in accordance with GAAP requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Must have:
  • Coordinates accounting functions and programs.
  • Prepares financial analyses and reports.
  • Prepare cash tax payment forecasts.
  • Assists with preparing and monitoring budgets.
  • Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Assists with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigates and resolves audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Prepares federal, state, local, and special tax returns; along with maintenance of tax records.
  • Prepare accounting memos in accordance with GAAP requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work virtually with colleagues.
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.

We are currently recruiting for an accounting team member, this role can be based in the US or Canada.

Performance Objectives

  • Prepare accounting memos in accordance with GAAP requirements.

Competitive Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work virtually with colleagues around the globe.
  • Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.

This role is eligible for: Variable Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 + 10% bonus
