(Senior) Art Director

We Are Social is looking for a (Senior) Art Director for its Berlin office for a fixed term of 18 months. The role involves designing and developing concepts for campaigns, creating key visuals and content for various channels, especially Instagram and TikTok, and managing social media content. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in motion and graphic design, be proficient in Adobe Suite, and possess strong social media affinity and understanding of visual trends. The position requires close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and leadership of junior staff.

Requirements

What does the role involve?

What are we looking for?

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the creation department of a classic or digital creative agency in the field of motion and graphic design
• First-class skills in motion design
• Proficient in Adobe Suite programs, especially After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Cross-media understanding and a good sense for typography, colors and visual language
• Strong social media affinity and up to date with visual trends and storytelling on social media
• Enjoy visual conception and idea development for campaigns
• Commitment, creativity and a hands-on mentality
• Team spirit and decision-making ability
• Very good German and English language skills
