We Are Social is looking for a Social Media Manager (m/f/d) for 18 months in Munich or Berlin to support their Editorial Team. The role involves editorial research, content creation, strategy development, reporting, campaign support, project management, live coverage, and community management across various social media platforms. Candidates should be passionate about social topics, storytelling, and possess 2-4 years of editorial social media or agency experience, along with excellent German and English skills.
Must Have
- Editorial research and planning for social media brand presences
- Content creation and publishing for social media platforms

- Writing reports, evaluations, recommendations, and trend analyses
- Support in campaign development and conception

Requirements
What does the role involve?
- Editorial research and planning for brand presences in social media
- Content creation and publishing for a wide range of social media platforms
- Development of social media strategies
- Writing reports and evaluations, including developing recommendations for action and trend analyses
- Support in the development and conception of campaigns with and for our clients
- Project management and accompanying campaigns
- Live coverage in social media as part of live events
- Community management on various social media platforms
What are we looking for?
- You are passionate about social topics and storytelling is not a foreign word to you
- Proficiency with all common social media platforms and channels
- You appreciate good texts, think creatively, are aware of the power of words, and have a very good sense for language and its stylistic devices. In short: You know how to interact smartly with communities
- 2-4 years of editorial social media experience and/or professional experience in an agency context with an editorial focus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
