Job Summary

Epsilon is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join its Infrastructure Automation team, driving large-scale automation initiatives for global platforms. The role involves leveraging deep expertise in cloud automation across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and proficiency in tools like Terraform, Ansible, and AWX/Ansible Tower. This position focuses on building scalable, reusable automation frameworks, solving complex infrastructure challenges, and ensuring efficiency, standardization, and reliability through Infrastructure as Code. The engineer will also collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Product Engineering teams, contributing to architectural discussions and mentoring others.

Must Have

Deep expertise in cloud automation with AWS, Azure, and GCP
Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and AWX/Ansible Tower
Ability to build scalable, reusable automation frameworks
Experience in designing, building, and automating cloud infrastructure
Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules
Implement and maintain AWX/Ansible Tower
Solid grasp of Linux administration, networking, and scripting (Ansible, Shell, and Python)
Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale complex automation pipelines
Proven experience with CI/CD integration, Git-based workflows, and version control practices

Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Terraform and Ansible.

2. Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and enforce best practices across environments.

3. Implement and maintain AWX/Ansible Tower for centralized automation, job orchestration, and access management.

4. Collaborate with product and platform teams to define automation standards and drive cloud adoption at scale.

5. Integrate automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and compliance.

6. Optimize infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost through proactive automation.

7. Ensure security and governance are embedded in infrastructure automation processes.

8. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and drive root-cause analysis for long-term solutions.

9. Mentor and guide engineers to upskill in Terraform, Ansible, and cloud automation practices.

10. Contribute to architectural discussions, influencing platform strategy and automation roadmap.

Qualifications

1. BE/ B. Tech/ MCA

2. 5-8 years of experience

3. Solid grasp of Linux administration, networking, and scripting (Ansible, Shell, and Python).

4. Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale complex automation pipelines in production environments.

5. Deep understanding of AWS infrastructure automation (with working knowledge of Azure and GCP).

6. Proven experience with CI/CD integration, Git-based workflows, and version control practices.
