In this role, you will understand detailed requirements for functional and usability testing of web applications and backend services. You will review stories in detail and actively participate in grooming and sprint planning to assess testing efforts and ensure QA commitments are achievable. You will design and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans, write detailed test cases for thorough feature validation including exploratory testing for undefined scenarios, and perform hands-on test execution while managing the defect workflow effectively. You will automate test cases for functional and regression testing using Selenium and related frameworks, monitor daily regression builds to ensure code quality and stability, and contribute to product design discussions to ensure testability, scalability, and robustness. Additionally, you will work closely with Product Managers and Developers to deliver high-quality production releases, apply innovative concepts in testing to enhance coverage, quality, and reliability, collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, and troubleshoot application and environment issues using strong problem-solving skills.

This new SaaS platform will enable our customers (some of the biggest financial institutes around the world) to create solutions on the platform to fight financial crime.
We are looking for a skilled QA professional with a BE/ME in Computer Science or equivalent and 4–8 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing within product-based organizations. You should have strong expertise in Java, TestNG, and Selenium, including designing and implementing robust automation frameworks. Experience in API testing using tools like SOAP UI and Postman, along with proficiency in testing RESTful and SOAP interfaces, is essential. You should be comfortable working with both relational (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra) databases and have a good understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and VueJS for front-end validation. Familiarity with CI/CD practices using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Artifactory, as well as cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, is expected. A solid grasp of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, along with excellent communication skills, strong analytical thinking, and attention to detail, will ensure you succeed in this role.
