Job Summary

Seeking a Senior DevOps Manager to lead a team in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. This role involves developing and implementing DevOps strategies, optimizing system performance, and ensuring security. The manager will oversee cloud-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and compliance, while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across development and operations teams.

Must Have

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
  • Develop and implement DevOps strategies to optimize system performance, scalability, and security.
  • Design and manage cloud-based (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or other tools.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or similar tools.
  • Enforce security best practices, including vulnerability management, compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001), and access control.
  • Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
  • Work with software development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • 8+ years in DevOps, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
  • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Datadog).
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes security (RBAC, network policies).
  • Knowledge of serverless computing and microservices.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
