Job Summary

As a Senior BI Developer, you will be instrumental in providing advanced analytics and data visualization solutions using Power BI and Tableau. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports in both platforms, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing performance, and applying best practices for data visualization. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver insights, and provide training and support to users. This role requires a strong understanding of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes. You will be expected to conduct quality checks, maintain documentation, and explore advanced analytics capabilities, such as AI and machine learning within Power BI. The role involves working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Must Have

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Tableau and Power BI.
  • Solid experience in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Proficiency in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • Strong SQL skills, including complex queries and calculated fields.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

You will play a crucial role in leveraging Power BI and Tableau to provide advanced analytics and data visualization solutions. You will be involved in the development and optimization of business intelligence tools to drive business decisions and growth.

We'll trust you to:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Create interactive Tableau dashboards to support business needs.
  • Gather and normalize data from multiple data sources for use in Power BI and Tableau.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and dashboards.
  • Enhance dashboard performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
  • Apply best practices for data visualization and report development.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Provide training and support for Power BI and Tableau users within the organization.
  • Conduct quality checks and unit testing for reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain documentation for developed solutions.
  • Explore and implement advanced analytics capabilities such as AI and machine learning within Power BI.
  • Stay updated with the latest features in Power BI and Tableau.
