Sr. Consultant, Data Aggregation - Life Sciences/Pharma

This position leads client projects in the conception, execution, and delivery of Data Aggregation systems for life science firms. The Sr. Consultant will manage client interactions, identify growth areas, and oversee the development of data aggregation capabilities, including patient and channel data management and reporting. The role involves defining project scope, coordinating with data vendors, synthesizing findings, and communicating results to clients and internal teams. It also includes providing project leadership, monitoring progress, managing risks, and contributing to employee mentorship and client engagement.

Must Have

• Oversee and develop Data Aggregation projects and capabilities
• Develop data management and reporting suites across patient and channel data
• Define project scope and development approach
• Coordinate with data vendors to establish data exchanges and resolve data quality issues
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations, and communicate results to clients and internal teams
• Work independently or with a team to build out data processes
• Utilize coding to facilitate data processing and reporting
• Provide project leadership for team members
• Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are informed
• Manage project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafting SOWs, and managing client invoices
• Assist in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching
• Coach and mentor junior team members on their professional development
• Grow external client engagements, owning aspects of the relationship
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 4 to 6 years’ professional experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, with advanced Excel skills
• Proven experience implementing or supporting patient and/or payer data management solutions in the US pharmaceutical market
• Experience with HIPAA-compliant data management
• Strong project management and people management skills
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of data management best practices in the pharmaceutical industry

• Coding skills (SAS, Python, R, VBA, etc.)
• Knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI
• Experience with specialty distributor EDI (852, 867) data

This position leads client projects in the conception, execution, and delivery of Data Aggregation systems life science firms. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in managing client interactions regarding existing and future Data Aggregation projects and identifies areas for future growth.

We'll Trust You To:

• Oversees and develops Data Aggregation (specialty pharmacy, hub, specialty distributor, 3PL) projects and capabilities; consistently delivers quality client services and drives projects within expected timeframes and on budget.
• Develops data management and reporting suites across patient and channel data.
• Works with project leadership to define project scope and development approach for each project, including conducting issue analysis and hypothesis development.
• Coordinates with data vendors to establish data exchanges and to resolve data quality issues.
• Synthesizes findings, develops recommendations, and communicates results to clients and internal teams.
• Contributes to product development initiatives.
• Works independently or with a team to build out data processes.
• Coordinates with diverse teams, including those globally.
• Frequently utilizes coding to facilitate data processing and reporting.
• Provides project leadership for team members regarding process improvements, planned approaches for client requests, or transition of new deliverables.
• Monitors progress, manages risk and ensures key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes; manages project finances by maintaining financial summaries, drafts SOWs for new work, and manages client invoices.
• Assists in supporting management, including promoting employee engagement, recruiting, training, and providing ongoing education, employee mentorship and coaching; contributes to internal initiatives as needed.
• Fosters an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
• Coaches and mentors junior team members on their professional development and serves as their Professional Development Manager.
• Grows external client engagements, owning aspects of the relationship between the client and the firm.

You will need to have:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Beghou, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $150,000.
