Job Description

Join SimCorp, a leading FinTech company, as a Senior Business Consultant specializing in Asset Servicing Hub Onboarding. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with external parties, managing client communications, and collaborating with product development to resolve business issues. Responsibilities include coordinating testing activities, managing customer change requests for integrations, assessing initial information, and conducting individual party outreach. You will also own internal follow-up processes and identify opportunities to improve outreach processes and documentation of best practices for efficiency and customer experience. Additionally, you will provide guidance to junior team members. The role requires an understanding of custodian and asset management companies, post-trade processes, order execution, settlements, reconciliations, SWIFT messages, interfacing challenges, and general testing processes. Experience in onboarding within the Asset Management/Asset Servicing industry, particularly with SimCorp Dimension or equivalent, and expertise in data mapping are highly valued. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to manage environments with incomplete information, is crucial.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Develops and maintains relationships with external parties, acting as the primary point of contact during the outreach process 
  • Manages communications with the client over the listed responsibilities 
  • Collaborates with product development to resolve business issues, change requests 
  • Coordinates testing activities with SC teams and executes general test planning in alignment with overall project plan
  • Manages customer change requests to scope of integrations/parties, reviews them, prepares the necessary information, and provides an initial assessment 
  • Responsible for individual party outreach as per assignment 
  • Owns internal follow-up-processes on topics and requirements addressed to SimCorp 
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve outreach process and documentation of best practices, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and the overall customer experience 
  • Provides guidance to junior team members, acting as a multiplicator

  • Understands the custodian and asset management companies in the client’s home market, their specifics and legal environment to a fair extent

  • Understands general interfacing challenges 
  • Understands general testing processes and requirements in a project 
  • Experience in onboarding within Asset Management / Asset Servicing industry (SimCorp Dimension or equivalent) 
  • Expertise in data mapping topics  
  • Ability to work both self-directed and collaboratively within a team 
  • Ability to effectively navigate in an environment with missing/incomplete information and manage discrepancies
