This role is for a Senior Business Development Executive focusing on Federal Civilian clients. You will be responsible for driving revenue, achieving quota, developing territory, and engaging customers. This includes prospecting new business, maintaining strategic client relationships, and marketing TransUnion's products and services. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of selling experience in information solutions, a strong history of quota attainment, and excellent sales, relationship management, communication, and technical skills.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of selling experience in the information solutions space.
  • Strong history of quota attainment.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in sales and marketing techniques.
  • Ability to effectively establish positive relationships with customer base.
  • Ability to demonstrate written and verbal competence including strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications and other software applications and Internet savvy.
  • Responsible for revenue generation, quota attainment, territory development and customer engagement.
  • Responsible for maintaining good customer service of most strategically valuable Public Sector clients.
  • Prospects for new business by cold calling and use of digital marketing or in-person visits.
  • Provide new prospects with product / solution information including pricing, features, delivery and availability.

This position is eligible for both base pay and commission earnings. TransUnion commission targets are generally 20% – 50% of base salary and may vary based on position. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
