Product
Drive and contribute to the AppExchange point of view and roadmap. Define market needs, product vision, and strategies. Identify & define business problems worth solving at scale, work with the innovation process to design forward-thinking solutions, then determine delivery strategy and mechanism. Engage with customers, partners, and ISVs, along with product ambassadors from across Salesforce to prioritize the future of our industry. Generate roadmaps and associated communications, perform release planning, and gather product requirements. Develop functional specifications for customer enablement and success. Collaborate with teams, including those for Quality Assurance, User Experience, and Documentation, to execute AppExchange product strategies. Own and drive end-to-end feature delivery. Analyze and document user feedback and subsequently develop prototypes in collaboration with User Experience for usability testing. Work in conjunction with Development, Technical Publications, and Quality Assurance teams to timely deliver marketable products. Drive product requirements from customer and user-driven approach. Engage with customers for requirements gathering, feature requests, and roadmap updates. Represent Salesforce as a domain and product expert at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media. Telecommuting is an option.
Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Research, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
(1) Business strategy; (2) Business analytics; (3) Project management; (4) Project management tools such as Scrum, or SDLC; (5) Product roadmap planning and grooming; (6) Salesforce Force.com platform; (7) Query languages such as SQL, PostgreSQL or SOQL; and (8) Salesforce tools such as CRM, Data Loader, Wave and GUS. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
