Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with various leaders to help manage and grow the business. This role involves driving monthly and annual forecasts, providing insightful variance analysis, evaluating financial trade-offs, and offering ad hoc financial analysis support. You will develop efficiency metrics, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support sales commission accuracy, contributing to the company's rapid growth.
Must Have:
- Drive monthly and annual forecasts and budgets for opex spend.
- Forecast accurately, understanding spending patterns and reasons.
- Evaluate financial trade-offs and sensitivities for better decision making.
- Provide front-line support for ad hoc financial analysis requests.
- Develop efficiency metrics to inform growth and set financial context.
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
- Reconcile headcount for the organization.
- Partner with business partners for effective cost management solutions.
- Support Sales team to ensure accuracy and alignment of commissions.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 6+ years of relevant financial analysis work experience.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, using Excel and G-Suite.
- Adopts a constant improvement mindset for efficient processes.
- Strong understanding of or exposure to US GAAP or IFRS.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

About the role
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with various leaders to help manage and grow the business. The company is growing at a rapid pace and you will play an important role providing thought partnership and decision support to many new initiatives. This role reports to the Finance Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
What you’ll do
- Drive the monthly, annual forecasts and budgets for all opex spend, highlighting insightful variance analysis and implications to forecast
- Forecast accurately, not only aligning on assumptions with stakeholders, but understanding what, where, and why we spend
- Evaluate trade offs and financial sensitivities leading to better decision making and scenario planning
- Provide front line support for ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries, presenting and visualizing data and insights
- Develop efficiency metrics to help inform growth and set financial context
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with all key stakeholders
- Reconcile HC for organization
- Partner closely with business partners to understand their needs and develop effective and strategic cost management solutions
- Support Sales team to ensure accuracy and alignment of commissions
In order to be successful, you must bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 6+ years of relevant financial analysis work experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, using key tools within Excel and G-Suite
- Adopts a constant improvement mindset and applies towards making processes & procedures more efficient
- Strong understanding of/ exposure to US GAAP or IFRS
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally
