Job Description
As a Senior Front-end Mobile Engineer at Carry1st, you will design and implement features for the Carry1st Shop App on Android and iOS, managing technical debt and upholding mobile development standards. You will collaborate with UX Designers and Product Management to build the next generation of consumer products, develop new user-facing features, review UI/UX designs, architect efficient and reusable code, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, resolving any performance issues.
Good To Have:
- Experience building iOS applications with Swift.
- Experience building mobile games.
- Experience building e-commerce apps.
Must Have:
- 3+ years experience building and releasing Android applications with Kotlin.
- Experience with API integration via SDKs and REST.
- Experience with CI/CD and unit testing.
- High degree of ownership and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Curiosity in the latest Android and iOS technologies and frameworks.
- Experience in producing proof of concepts for new Android and/or iOS APIs.
- Experience managing the release of Android and/or iOS applications.

- Develop new user-facing features for both Carry1st Shop’s Android and iOS apps
- Review and advice on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Architect efficient and reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, resolving any performance issues
Requirements
What makes you a great candidate?
- +3 years experience building and releasing Android applications with Kotlin. A bonus if you’ve iOS applications with Swift (or if you’ve built mobile games and/or e-commerce apps)
- Experience with API integration via SDKs and REST
- Experience with CI/CD and unit testing
- You show a high degree of ownership and can own/drive projects to completion
