ReBlink is a fast-growing gaming and entertainment studio in Toronto, backed by venture capital firms. We are creating imaginative new worlds and are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer with expertise in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Redux. This role involves collaborating with a team to develop and ship amazing web and mobile experiences, focusing on clean, maintainable code and interactive user interfaces, especially animated web interfaces.

Must Have

• Must be located in Canada.
• Experienced Front End Engineer with React, TypeScript, Next.js & Redux experience.

• Ability to bring web and mobile experiences to life at the caliber of the work coming out of our content and animation team.
• Love writing clean, readable and maintainable code to bring amazing interactive user experiences to life on the web.
• Solid understanding of using best practices for managing secrets, integrating with APIs.
• Communicate clearly and often with your team in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with "scrollytelling" and creating animated web interfaces that pop and wow audiences.
• Expert level experience with React (ReactJS), Next.js and Redux.
• Expert level experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript.
• Expert level experience with Bootstrap, Sass (SCSS) and common web development principles.
• Expert level experience with Git, Github, etc.
• Expert level experience with command line (Terminal) for development productivity.
• Experience caring for the technical needs of sites, apps and integrations with high volume traffic.
• Strong knowledge of compatibility and cross-browser issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
• 3+ years experience working within small or medium teams.
• Clear and concise communications.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with PHP and Python.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud, Vercel and Cloudflare.

We are looking for an experienced Front End Engineer with React, TypeScript, Next.js & Redux experience who values a fast-moving and outcomes based culture. You will be an extension of our amazing entertainment art team, so your ability to bring web and mobile experiences to life will be at the caliber of the work coming out of our content and animation team. You'll work closely with a team consisting of the CTO, Product Owner, Full Stack Software Engineer and UX Designer to ideate and ship amazing web and mobile experiences in an agile manner.

You love writing clean, readable and maintainable code to bring amazing interactive user experiences to life on the web. You have a solid understanding of using best practices for managing secrets, integrating with APIs and love to communicate clearly and often with your team in a collaborative environment.

The right candidate has experience with "scrollytelling" and creating animated web interfaces that pop and wow audiences.

YOU'LL NEED TO BE PROFICIENT WITH THESE TECHNOLOGIES & TOOLS

• Expert level experience with React (ReactJS), Next.js and Redux

• Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
