As a Senior Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for a portfolio of international clients investing in various alternative asset classes, handling accounting, fund administration, tax, and reporting services. You will review accounting for various entities, perform Net Asset Value calculations, assist with consolidations, prepare financial statements, and ensure tax compliance. You will act as a main contact for clients, building relationships and developing business activities. You will work closely with other teams to create synergies and provide tailored solutions. The role involves working in a dynamic and rewarding environment within a team, developing both technical and relationship skills, and being exposed to data management and technology.
Must have:
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Accounting or related.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, Lux GAAP, and/or US GAAP.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of the consolidation principles.
  • Knowledge of accounting softwares and data analytical tools.
  • Digital curiosity and interest in technology or languages

The PwC Fund Administration practice is looking to hire professionals eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment being part of a dynamic team where each member has the ability to develop both technical and relationship skills. Your mission Working in a team, your role will encompass participation in all areas of Fund Administration, Accounting and Tax for a variety of complex alternative structures. 

Working closely with Fund Accounting Managers, your responsibilities as a Senior Fund Accountant (m/f/d) are to:

  • Be responsible for a portfolio of international clients investing in varied alternative asset classes following different GAAPs (IFRS, Lux GAAP, US GAAP etc.) and industry specific regulations. Your duties will include review of accounting for various entities, fund administration activities, performance and review of Net Asset Value calculations, review and assistance with consolidations, management and investor reporting, financial statements preparation and tax compliance;
  • Act as a main contact for our clients continuously improving client relations and developing our business activities; 
  • Build close working relationships with other teams in our Accounting and Tax practice to create synergies, tailored solutions and provide best value to our clients.

  • Participate in internal and external projects and initiatives;

Let’s talk about you. If… 

  • You have a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline, from a university or higher education institution,
  • You have 2+ years of professional experience in Accounting, Audit, Fund Administration, Financial Reporting or Consolidation;
  • You are motivated and eager to learn and/or further develop various aspects of the accounting profession embracing digital transformation and new ways of working; 
  • You are interested in the hot topics and developments in the alternative investments world; 
  • Strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy;
  • Knowledge of IFRS and/or Lux GAAP and/or US GAAP is required;
  • Knowledge of the consolidation principles will be considered as an asset; 
  • You are keen to work in young, fast-paced and international teams;
  • You have good people skills, you like to work as part of a team and you are eager to dive into a major project where your energy, analytical skills, discipline and intellectual curiosity will drive success;
  • You are flexible and independent, and you can adapt to sudden changes in working patterns;
  • Knowledge of accounting softwares (e.g. Yardi), data and analytical tools (ETL, BI, Alteryx) will be considered as an asset;
  • Digital curiosity and interest in technology or languages (SQL, Python..) is welcome.  
  • You are highly proficient in English. Speaking French or German would be considered as an asset.
