This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing of performance and power of GPU cores. Responsible for building functional modeling simulations, architecting and developing the microarchitecture of GPU cores, implementing RTL design, performing area and timing optimization to meet specifications, developing software, tools, and tests for various graphics workloads, running benchmarks for different applications, and performing pre- and postsilicon verification to verify correctness and ensure performance and power goals are met. Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
Must have:
  • Architecting, designing, implementing, verifying, and optimizing GPU cores.
  • Building functional modeling simulations.
  • Developing the microarchitecture of GPU cores.
  • Implementing RTL design.
  • Performing area and timing optimization to meet specifications.
  • Developing software, tools, and tests for various graphics workloads.
  • Running benchmarks for different applications.
  • Performing pre- and postsilicon verification.
  • Acting as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.

General Summary:

Will accept a Master's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field. Will also accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
