We’d open this job description with a cool story — but ours is incomplete until you join us.
Mercury’s Stories team is a small but mighty part of our Brand organization, where we aim to connect with and support ambitious founders and entrepreneurs through multiformat content. From blog posts and editorial series to tools, reports, video, and newsletters, we explore all kinds of storytelling — and work closely with Design, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Comms, Community, and others across the company to bring that storytelling to life.
We’re looking for a Sr. Growth Editor to help sharpen our content engine’s strategic edge and extend its impact. You’ll bring strong editorial instincts, a deep understanding of how content drives results, and an enthusiasm for building content that delivers measurable value to founders and to the business.
This is a high-leverage, cross-functional role for a sharp editor and versatile full-stack content strategist. You’ll focus on creating and amplifying content that drives traction — think blog posts, editorial series, newsletters, video and audio, creative tools and resources, and more. You’ll also help shape and execute special content projects working in close collaboration with teammates across Brand/Stories, Growth, and Product Marketing. You’ll pair a strategic mindset with a high creative bar, and move fluidly between big-picture ideas and the final details.
And you’re excited to move quickly — you’re not afraid to get scrappy to get things into market, test, and learn, and you balance your big swings with quick progress.
