Job Description

Luxoft seeks a Senior iOS Software Developer to develop cutting-edge software impacting thousands of users. Responsibilities include driving continuous improvement and delivery in an agile environment, integrating API services, understanding client/server architectures and mobile development methodologies. The role requires 5+ years of iOS development experience using Objective-C, REST Services, and Swift. The developer will work on high-impact projects, learn new technologies (like SwiftUI), and collaborate across teams. The ideal candidate is passionate about all aspects of application development, from design to launch, contributing to the evolution of mission-critical applications within a global, fast-paced Agile team.

Project description

We're seeking a solid and creative iOS Software Developer eager to solve scale problems and work on cutting-edge and open-source technologies. In this project, you will have the opportunity to write code that will impact thousands of users every month. You'll implement your critical thinking and technical skills to develop cutting-edge software, and you'll have the opportunity to interact with teams across disciplines. In this project, you will be a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position supports and transforms existing and new mission-critical and highly-visible operational website(s) and applications - spanning multiple technology stacks - through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third party suppliers from around the globe in a 24x7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team.

Knowledge of API service connection integration

Understanding of client/server architectures

Understanding of mobile development standard methodologies

A dedicated mobile engineer with experience seeking a variety of outstanding challenges

Excited to pick up, learn and run with new technologies and frameworks such as SwiftUI

Love all aspects of application development, from brainstorming and design to implementation and launch

Skills

Must have

5+ years of experience in the following:

-iOS

-Objective C

-REST Services

-Swift Programming Language

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

3+ years of experience working in an iOS environment

Experience developing features on iOS with Swift

Nice to have
