At Aristocrat, the Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing (IGSS) team is responsible for creating and driving enterprise-wide sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories and collaborating with multiple Business Units to secure optimal purchasing opportunities for Aristocrat. We interface at the SVP and VP levels of the company, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive results to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
The IGSS team is a dynamic and engaging team responsible for continuing to build out the indirect sourcing function including, but not limited to, policy & process deployment, driving organizational change and adoption, creating team infrastructure and documentation, and creating the most efficient and effective indirect sourcing projects around the Aristocrat infrastructure. We are putting a strong team together who will have the ability to drive organizational scale by creating better processes, tools, reporting, and infrastructure of how Aristocrat manages all non-gaming related vendors (supporting our internal-only infrastructure) and be key to strategy development and leadership reporting.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing who is passionate about sourcing the best indirect products/services from the best suppliers with a focus on cost optimization to keep the overall operating expenses and best-in-class contract favorability at the forefront of our business model. This position has multi-million dollar financial and enterprise risk mitigation responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Manage a series of indirect spending projects across a range of differing Indirect Categories, including the Request for Information (RFI) phase, Request for Proposal (RFP), official Request for Quotes (RFQs), and related revisions and negotiations, as well as execution hand-off to indirect purchasing/buyer (s)
- Manage and execute long-form contracts as well as flow Purchase Order (PO) requirements to indirect buyers for execution on time ensuring key contractual flow-downs are documented
- Create project charters and socialize with key stakeholders (daily interactions will include senior leadership)
- Drive to achieve net savings and cost avoidance across several indirect spend categories in excess of $20M spent per year (for this role)
- Drive insight and regular reporting cadence on all key indirect spend – aligning with the analytics team lead to ensure understanding of key areas of spending upcoming contracts renewals, necessary RFPs, or key procurements
- All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, supporting the development of strategic templates, strategy documents, project charters, executive project summaries & contract summaries, savings documentation, and audits
- Responsible for driving continuous improvement of procurement processes throughout Aristocrat and its subsidiaries and providing expertise to business leaders in planning and implementing supply chain strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum seven (7) years of Indirect sourcing and contracts experience (ideally in a Global company)
- Degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related required.
- Project Management (PMP) and supply chain certifications a plus.
- The deep specialist knowledge of a minimum of 3 Indirect Categories (ideally in Marketing (including tradeshows), HR US Benefits, IT, Professional Services; and Talent).
- Exposure to other categories provides adaptability/category flexibility.
- Superior negotiation skills developed through significant corporate sourcing environment experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively persuade others to listen, commit, and act on a new approach.
- Self-confident with an ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner.
- Exceptional process rigor and integrity with a focus on sustainable procurement (CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility).
- Manages change, ambiguity, and complexity, and drives for optimum results.
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience writing/generating RFx’s to suppliers and leading teams in complex RFx projects.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong influencing skills that can be used to lead teams and build partnerships with internal resources and Aristocrat’s supply base.
- A strong track record of strategic transformational excellence.
- Formal training / highly developed skills in contract redlines

Pay Range
$111,276 - $206,655 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
