Gameopedia seeks a Senior IT Manager to lead and scale global IT operations. The role requires expertise in Google Workspace, network security, Windows/Mac OS, cloud services, and IT policy development. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in IT administration and system management, including at least 5 years managing IT in multi-location environments.

The Role: Senior IT Manager

We’re looking for a Senior IT Manager to lead and scale our IT operations globally. You’ll design, build, and manage a secure, robust, and efficient IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless support for a growing, multi-location organization. As both a strategist and a hands-on leader, you’ll help us achieve operational excellence and empower our teams to innovate.

This role reports to the COO and will collaborate closely with the CTO as needed.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • IT Infrastructure Leadership:
    Design, implement, and manage scalable IT infrastructure to support our current needs and future growth.

  • Global IT Support:
    Lead and oversee IT support for employees across locations, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

  • System Administration:
    Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and end-user systems (Windows and Mac).

  • Cybersecurity and Compliance:
    Establish and enforce cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with global data protection regulations and industry standards.

  • Team Building:
    Build and lead a high-performing global IT team, fostering innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Process Optimization:
    Implement and refine IT service management processes to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.

What You’ll Bring

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years in IT administration and system management.

  • At least 5 years of experience managing IT operations in multi-location environments.

  • Experience in a tech or gaming company is a big plus.

  • Proven expertise in designing scalable IT infrastructure.

  • Experience supporting a rapid scaling and fast-paced growth environment is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Workspace Admin certification required).

  • Expertise in network and system security principles.

  • Proficiency in managing IT service operations, including:
    • Windows and Mac OS

    • Secure remote access solutions (VPNs, MFA)

    • Active Directory, drive encryption, and hardware/software support

    • Cloud services and asset management

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Administrator (certification is a plus).

  • Experience developing IT policies and conducting ISO audits

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
