Conga is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of UX to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of user experience across its product portfolio. This role involves leading a talented team of designers, collaborating with research, product management, and engineering to create intuitive and delightful customer experiences. The Senior Manager will balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, establish design standards, and foster a culture of innovation and user-centered design. This position is crucial for shaping how millions of users interact with Conga's products, impacting customer satisfaction, product adoption, and business growth during a critical growth phase.

  • Over five years of experience using AI-powered design tools, particularly v0 and those within the Vercel ecosystem

  • Background in B2B product design, balancing customer goals with commercial impact
  • Solid technical understanding for seamless collaboration with engineering teams
  • Experience in design operations: tooling, resource planning, and budget management
  • Proven success building or transforming design teams
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable using analytics, A/B testing, and metrics
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
  • Published work, speaking engagements, or community contributions in the design field
  • Advanced degree in Design, HCI, or related discipline
  • Certifications in relevant methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean UX, etc.)

  • More than three years in people management, leading design teams of five or more

  • Ability to balance user needs with business objectives and technical constraints
  • Experience integrating UX into agile/lean development workflows
  • Skilled at collaborating with product management, engineering, and executive leadership
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly
  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, V0, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience

Here’s what we’re looking for

With over 8 years of experience in UX and product design including more than three years in people management—I’ve successfully built and led high-performing design teams of five or more designers. My portfolio highlights comprehensive, end-to-end product design leadership, spanning from strategic planning and user research to execution and successful product launches.

Design strategy and execution

  • Experience establishing scalable design systems, processes, and standards across multiple product lines
  • Expertise in partnering with research teams and turning user insights into actionable design strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to balance user needs with business objectives and technical constraints
  • Experience integrating UX into agile/lean development workflows

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Skilled at collaborating with product management, engineering, and executive leadership
  • Excellent communication skills—able to articulate design decisions clearly across audiences and levels

Tools and education

  • Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, V0, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or related field—or equivalent experience
