- Experience with JIRA, CI, and deployment tools.
- Knowledge of Cucumber and Java automation.
- Understanding of Agile SDLC and CI/CD.
- Experience in a Fintech company.
- Experience in a distributed/offshore team setup.

Project description
The client is a fin-tech London-based company. The project is built around a digital voting system that enables investors to vote in real-time, removing traditional deadlines for submitting votes several days ahead of a company meeting. This is not a traditional banking project but rather a startup spun out by the bank with a relatively small dev team working on it. Project stakeholders and team members are based in Kiev, Tel Aviv and London.
Tech stack: JS, CSS, HTML5, REST API, SQL, Unix
Please note that this is 6 months opportunity with possible prolongation
Responsibilities
Create test scripts using descriptions of features and functions developed in Jira and as demo'd by technology/product team.
Create SQL queries
Creation and execution of test scripts.
Documentation of all bugs identified in standardized documentation for prioritization with product team colleagues and technology team.
Reporting test execution progress on an intra-day basis via Teams chat and daily stand-up calls.
Optionally, develop automation tests and help Automation QA with his tasks
Skills
Must have
4+ years of proven experience in manual testing for FE and BE applications
Good experience of working with and testing server-side BE applications in Unix environment
Experience of being a QA in a cross-functional Scrum development team
Strong understanding of SQL
API testing experience
Degree in Computer Science or relevant technical degree
Nice to have
Experience with JIRA, CI and deployment tools (TeamCity, uDeploy or similar)
Any knowledge and experience with Cucumber and automation on Java
Understanding of Agile SDLC, continuous integration, automated testing, user acceptance testing principles and processes
Experience of working in a Fintech company
Experience working in a distributed / offshore team setup
