Job Description

Ford Otosan requires Luxoft's engineering design and consultancy support for a new Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Development program. The role involves owning and managing FOVSP stakeholder requirements, including safety and cybersecurity, ensuring alignment with application requirements, and collaborating with feature owners. Responsibilities include ensuring traceability of FOVSP requirements, acting as a counterpart to suppliers, reviewing supplier requirements and system designs, and resolving conflicts. The engineer will be responsible for system engineering and design for FOVSP vehicle-level requirements, creating system-level requirements and architecture design, and moderating requirement reviews. The role also entails supporting safety and cybersecurity analysis, collaborating with architects, supporting FMEA analysis, and ensuring safety and security requirements are reflected in the design. Additionally, supporting system testing, working with test engineers, reviewing test requirements and results, and root-causing system test problems are key aspects.
Must have:
  • Experience with suppliers and OEMs in automotive
  • Exposure to vehicle-level software integration
  • At least 6 years in automotive system engineering
  • Automotive software development (AUTOSAR, embedded C, C++)
  • System engineering principles, requirements engineering, architecture design
  • Classic & Adaptive AUTOSAR knowledge
  • Vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP)
  • Safety, cybersecurity, quality standards (ISO 26262, UNECE WP.29, ISO/SAE 21434, Automotive ASPICE)
  • Functional safety analysis (FTA, FMEA, HARA)
  • System engineering & requirements management tools
  • Vehicle middleware and system service layers knowledge
  • Understanding system testing processes and validation
Good to have:
  • Experience with ADAS domain middleware design requirements & constraints

Ford Otosan engages in the business of designing, manufacturing and exporting motor vehicles, engines, transmissions, differentials and their components under the Ford brand at its manufacturing locations in Turkey, for sales in the domestic and foreign markets.
Ford Otosan has requested Luxoft to undertake engineering design and consultancy support to a new Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Development program that meets the technical and attribute requirements, which will be produced and/or sold worldwide by Ford Otosan and its licensees.

Responsibilities

Ownership of FOVSP stakeholder requirements

Collecting & maintaining the FOVSP stakeholder requirements (incl. safety and cybersecurity requirements)

Ensuring the stakeholder requirements are aligned with application requirements.

Working in alignment with application feature owners.

Ensuring traceability between the FOVSP reqs and the rest of the system

Counterpart towards the FOVSP, middleware stack and system service suppliers.

Ensuring the stakeholder requirements are understood by the suppliers

Review & feedback on the supplier system requirements

Resolving conflicts with regards to system requirements and design between Otosan and Suppliers

3.Responsible for system engineering and design (SYS 1

Initiating, moderating & tracking the requirement-reviews

Ensuring traceability & compliance with the quality requirements

Collaborating with FOVSP Security & FOVSP Safety Architect

Supporting the FOVSP FMEA analysis & reviews

Ensuring the safety and security requirements are derived and reflected in the design

Supporting the system-testing

Working closely with the system test engineer

Reviewing system testing requirements / cases

Ensuring the requirements are well understood by the test engineers

Reviewing system test results

Skills

Must have

bullet icon

Experience working with suppliers and OEMs in an automotive environment.

bullet icon

Exposure to vehicle-level software integration and validation.

bullet icon

At least 6 years of experience in automotive system engineering

bullet icon

Experience with automotive software development (AUTOSAR, embedded C, C++).

bullet icon

Strong knowledge of system engineering principles, requirements engineering, and architecture design.

bullet icon

Very good knowledge of the Classic & Adaptive AUTOSAR.

bullet icon

Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, SOME/IP).

Experience with safety, cybersecurity standards & quality standards (ISO 26262, UNECE WP.29, ISO/SAE 21434, Automotive ASPICE).

Experience in functional safety analysis (FTA, FMEA, HARA).

Proficiency in system engineering & requirements management tools (Enterprise Architect, and DOORS, Polarion, or equivalent).
