We are looking for dedicated software engineers who want to work for one of “Fortune 100’s Top Companies to Work For”. If you join our team, you will be working alongside a group of talented software developers and testers, UI/UX designers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud enthusiasts, Scrum Masters and Product Owners. Majority of our teams are based locally in Kosice, Slovakia, but we have bunch of remote working colleagues as well. Agile is the way - and we wouldn´t do it any other way. We understand the advantages of Scrum/SAFE principles and we like to keep things effective and flexible.
Must have:
  • Work independently on small projects or as part of a team on larger project efforts.
  • Responsible for lifecycle of project for small projects – including project documentation, defining business requirements, approvals, user acceptance testing, etc.
  • Interpret/define user requirements for technical specifications; create technical specifications and test plans.
  • Design solutions to meet the business needs/requirements as defined.
  • Develop applications based upon customer requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and writing design and analysis documents.
  • Identify, research and resolve technical and business issues, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Integration of legacy systems with new applications using Web Services.
  • Create, execute, and document unit and system tests.
  • Monitor performance of programs after implementation.
  • Diagnose and correct problems with existing systems.
  • Communicate effectively with all areas of IT and its customers.
  • Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL development.
  • Knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Experience designing, building, and testing microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with DevOps, and CI/CD.
  • Experience with build management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members.
  • Excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
  • 5+ years in a similar role.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL development
  • Knowledge of TypeScript
  • Experience designing, building, and testing microservices and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with DevOps, and CI/CD
  • Experience with build management tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
  • Experience working with Kafka and Redis a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members such as project managers, business analysts, and quality assurance analysts.
  • Excellent communication, organization and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field
  • 5+ years in a similar role
