The Senior Payment Enablement Specialist will lead enterprise-level merchant integrations across Codapay’s global markets, acting as the technical authority for payment API solutions. This role involves managing cross-functional coordination, mentoring junior team members, and focusing on system integration, project ownership, and scalable impact. Responsibilities include owning technical relationships with high-value merchants, designing solutions for complex use cases, leading technical deep-dives and troubleshooting, ensuring secure and compliant integrations, monitoring integration health, conducting technical business reviews, and acting as an escalation point for technical blockers.
Must have:
  • 2+ years in technical support/solution engineering/integration
  • Solid knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP concepts, and system debugging
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Native Mandarin and fluent English
Good to have:
  • Experience supporting payment systems or fintech merchants
  • Experience with Postman, Kibana, SQL

As a Senior Payment Enablement Specialist, you will lead enterprise-level merchant integrations across Codapay’s global markets. You’ll serve as the technical authority in payment API solutions, manage cross-functional coordination, and mentor junior teammates. This role is ideal for someone with deep technical experience in system integration, strong project ownership, and a passion for scalable impact.

Responsibilities

  • 1. Complex Integration Leadership (Payin & Payout)
  • Own technical relationships with high-value or multi-market merchants
  • Design and propose solutions for non-standard use cases (e.g., multi-currency, special routing logic)
  • Lead technical deep-dives, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations
  • Ensure secure, compliant, and optimized integration implementation

  • 2. Merchant Success & Technical Guidance
  • Monitor integration health and recommend performance improvements
  • Conduct technical business reviews with strategic partners
  • Act as the escalation point for critical technical blockers
  • Translate merchant feedback into actionable improvement proposals

  • 3. Internal Advocacy & Process Optimization
  • Lead testing of new features in coordination with Product and Engineering
  • Maintain complex scenario runbooks and reusable templates
  • Propose automation or tooling to reduce integration effort and errors
  • Improve SLA turnaround and cross-team workflows

  • 4. Team Mentorship & Enablement
  • Coach junior specialists and support their case handling growth
  • Lead internal workshops or documentation of edge cases
  • Collaborate in hiring and onboarding of new joiners
  • Drive knowledge-sharing culture across the team

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, solution engineering, integration, or similar fields
  • Solid knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP concepts, and system debugging (Postman, Kibana, SQL)
  • Experience supporting payment systems or fintech merchants is highly preferred
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Native in Mandarin and fluent in English
  • Enjoys working in a multicultural, cross-regional environment.
