  • Drive pipeline initiatives end-to-end, including scoping, technical planning, and securing the right resources to meet aggressive production goals.
  • Build and maintain scalable asset management and processing tools that support a hybrid environment with locally authored assets and remote, AI-assisted, or UGC content.
  • Provide and coordinate front-line support for asset tracking, asset ingestion, and asset triaging from art authoring to game integration.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize legacy workflows, introducing cloud-based solutions, automation, and asynchronous processing wherever impactful.
  • Anticipate cross department needs and work to improve efficiency
  • Collaborate closely amongst Content, Engineering & Avatar Technology teams to improve automated systems for processing internal and external assets (UGC)

What You Should Have:

  • Production experience in 3D content creation and graphics pipelines, including managing 3D assets, animation, and rendering.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge traditional DCC pipelines with new approaches involving automation, cloud-based processing, or user generated content.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python for scripting, pipeline development, and package distribution.
  • Familiarity with C++ and C# for extending DCC tools (e.g., Maya, Blender) or real-time engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal).
  • Experience designing and building APIs, particularly RESTful endpoints.
  • Strong understanding of backend systems, including asynchronous processing, queue architectures, and database integration.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and workflows, including:
    • Version control (e.g., GitHub)
    • CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
    • Environment management (e.g., Docker, Virtualenv)
  • Some familiarity with AWS services, such as Lambda, S3, and related SDKs.
  • Comfortable working across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.

Work Style & Mindset

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable switching between hands-on implementation and high-level architecture.
  • Self-motivated and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
  • Passionate about contributing to a fast-paced startup environment.
