Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we're expanding our team and are seeking a Senior Primary Engineer with MV & HV design experience to join us in our Hamilton or Auckland offices. 

How you’ll make a difference:

• Lead the technical design of projects involving HV and MV electrical equipment for clients across the generation, industrial, and transmission & distribution sectors.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes by ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest technical standards.
• Produce clear, concise technical reports and proposal documents that support project success.
• Communicate technical information confidently with both internal teams and external clients.

The qualities that help you thrive:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and Chartered Engineer status, or working towards it
• 5+ years of experience in MV & HV equipment design e.g. cables, switchgear, transformers, etc.
• Familiarity with engineering software such as CDEGS, CYMCAP or similar
• Valid driver’s licence
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is desirable but not essential
